We strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Baghdad which resulted in the death or injury of a large number of people.

Turkey,as a country that denounces terrorism regardless of its source or reason and that has lost many citizens in terrorist attacks of various organizations, shares the sorrow of the Iraqi people.

We wish God’s mercy on those who lost their lives in this heinous attack, convey our condolences to their relatives and Iraqi people and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will continue to stand by Iraq in its fight against all forms of terrorism.
