The announcement of the Washington D.C. Superior Court about the indictments issued in relation with the incident in front of the residence of the Turkish Ambassador on 16th of May 2017 is regretted.

We protest in strongest terms, the issuance of this unjust and partial indictment, that blames even the people who were not present or who have never traveled to the US. This indictment was issued, despite the explanations previously provided to the US authorities at various levels and multiple times that the incident resulted from the serious neglect of US local security authorities and the provocations of the followers of PKK terrorist organization under the disguise of protestors. Our reaction on this issue has been communicated to the US Ambassador to Turkey.

We reserve the right to pursue legal avenues regarding this development which we perceive as part of the efforts of some political circles in the US to escalate and which is brought to this point by a purely political approach and in a baseless and unjust manner.
