Turkey welcomes the conclusion of the ongoing negotiation process, held between the government and the opposition parties under the auspices of the countries in the region in order to bring an end to the civil war in South Sudan, with the signature of the power sharing agreement in Khartoum on 5 August 2018.

We believe that successfully putting the said agreement into effect will serve to the prosperity and well-being of the friendly people of South Sudan as well as to the security and stability of the countries in the region.
